Having so many friends to play with

Sterline

I would like to be a nurse and/or a very important and influential person so that I can help my country; I would like to one day help the people who have helped me.

What’s the hardest part of living at GGC?

Sometimes [the kids] might say mean things to each other or be rude – one day they are friends and the next day they say they aren’t, but that doesn’t happen often.

What are your hopes for Haiti?

I want to see Haiti become developed so that Haiti can become nicer and improve.

What should people know about Haiti?

The way that we live in Haiti, and I want foreigners to treat Haiti well and help keep the country nice rather than mistreat its people. Also, that Haiti could receive help from other countries after they see how much Haiti needs.

What do you like about the teams that visit?

I like when teams play with us and throw parties for us.  Also, every Sunday when they come to church they always give us hugs. I’m sad to see them leave and see them cry together when they leave.

Anything else you’d like to say, Nissa?

Come back to Haiti!
